A four-acre site along Confederation Boulevard serves as a garden reflecting four important ecological themes: the prairies, the tundra, the woodlands and Canadian horticultural pioneers.

Interpretive panels explaining the plants and eco-systems can be found throughout the gardens, and feature text, graphics and photographs.
