Collaborators: Signex Manufacturing

The combination of bold blues, whites and silvers makes for a series of striking square columns at important downtown sites around Gimli, Manitoba. 

Signex Maufacturing, the local firm behind the column, incorporated cut-to-shape ALTO™ powder-coated graphics on the bottom third of the column, sublimated with a monochromatic aerial map and informational elements on the bottom third.

The interpretive texts and maps on the columns contribute to the sense of pride local residents have for their town and its vibrant history. Light-up lettering ensures the columns remain a wayfinding beacon both day and night.
