A Friend of a Friend
Site: Revelstoke, BC
Collaborators: Bruno Long | Revelstoke Arts Council | Luna Fest
Familiar faces combine to create a public art project that celebrates connections and community. The work of sports photographer Bruno Long, this project takes portraits of 50 community members and turns them into layered, dynamic and unexpected photo collage. For the two part project, Long photographed and interviewed community members for social media posts, then used the images to create permanent public art installation.
These digital collage murals remind us that together, we can create something beautiful. Installed in Revelstoke, B.C., these outdoor artworks created for the city’s Luna Fest are on display to inspire and delight.
With ALTO™ Aluminum as the base material for these sublimated panels, these pieces of community art can hang outside in all four seasons.
