Geometric forms in a variety of colors and sizes are installed at key locations in this Montreal metro station, a work by artist Marianne Chevalier. Colors and shapes reference and complement the moulded concrete dials designed by architect André Léonard in 1981.

Influenced by isometric drawings, the artwork employs strong vertical and horizontal lines to represent the movement and direction of passengers, elevators and subway trains on a single plane. Representing multiple points of view and the concept of layers, from the geological to the social, this work unites all through vibrant artwork and clever panel installation.
