Collaborators: Patrick Dionne and Miki Gingras | Jean- Nicolet School

A mural in several parts, this colorful addition to an elementary school (Jean Nicolet School, Montreal, QC) facade was created by a celebrated artistic duo from Quebec. The mural seeks to draw parallels between memory and transformation, while also exploring the correlating themes of childhood and nature.

Working primarily in the photographic medium, Pat and Miki use macro images to transform large-scale shapes into colorful, high textured works of art. In the case of Mémoire d’un paysage, the artists had details from their photographs sublimated onto custom cut ALTO™ Aluminum.
